St. George Day 1

After cancelling our trip to Moab (18” of snow at the Canyonlands ranger station), we decided to make the much shorter trek to St. George, UT. The riding is spectacular in the St. George area and we rolled straight through town and made our way to the Barrel Roll Trail Area. The city of Santa Clara just outside of St. George has done an excellent job of building a series of fun and exciting trails that kept smiles on our faces for almost five hours of uninterrupted, singletrack heaven.
Most of the gang at the Barrel parking lot. Man, what an awesome day

At the top of one of many mesas in the area. The views are just too good to pass up.

At the top of the same mesa. The boys kept their distance from the girls as if it was a church dance. Weirdoes

Just like at the church dances, I had to make the first move. I corralled one of the more awkward ones who wouldn’t step away from his bike.
