It was a bit of a cluster to pick up feed zone passes, but thanks to Nate my name is on the list and he got a feed/tech pass. They talked about adding some last minute single track through the trees. It was really interesting to hear different racers and team mangers "discuss" this with the official. No one has seen it or had a chance to pre-ride it. They were going to decide by 8:00 today, race day, 4.5 hours before the race. There will be races all morning, so no chances to ride it today. So last night at 9:00 I hopped on my bike and did a little recon. (We are staying 2 blocks from the start line!). It's only 150 feet long, but has roots and rocks all through it. Greg, the guy the designed the course was out there with his pick axe and shovel and said he was going to try to prep that section for us. He had about 20 minutes of light so he is a bit doubtful.
