My motto this summer: plan for your plans to change. This time it worked out in my favor, I only had to endure 12 days of heat before I returned to Park City single track. Less than 12 hours after we rolled into town I was riding through the trees. Luckily, these guys wanted to get on the trail early to pile up the hours. We started in Pinebrook and climbed over to the Canyons then PCMR. Then I realized I had to be back in SLC in 45 minutes. So I dropped on Spiro then hit the road. I could see I wasn't going to make it back in time while pedaling the mtb on the road when I saw a bus behind me. I hopped on the free bus and made it back to the car with no time to spare.
Oh, how I missed the trees and cooler temperatures. It's great to be back.
