The high winds forced me to keep my ride lower on Mammoth Mountain and led me to check out "Paper Route". It traverses across to a great view point for the Twin Lakes. The trails are in great condition, and they always seem to be. I think they are mainly pumice, so the moisture fall during the year doesn't affect them very much. My garmin stopped working on Saturday (but I didn't realize until after this ride) so I don't have a file for a map. You can check out the published map and see all the trails. I don't ride the double black diamond trails, they have gap jumps and huge features that my 19 pound hardtail wouldn't handle very well (nor would I!).
