The CX race at Deer Valley looked like a blast. I had no idea the field was going to be so small otherwise I would have tried it on my hard tail 29r. My friend Rebecca Gross won the Raleigh-Clement team contract and Carl Decker won the race on mountain bike! I also ran into my cousin's best friend, Beth. Beth missed the contract by a few seconds, dang it! It was a beautiful evening to be heckling the top cx racers in the country!
