I'll collect my thoughts for a real blog post after I catch up on some sleep. In the meantime here is what I said on Facebook:
Having a hard time describing the past two weeks of being on the road and racing. I didn't perform the way I expected to, my legs had nothing in them. I'm frustrated with my results but stoked that I raced the most technical terrain I've ever seen and did so cleanly without crashing! I learned some lessons & had a great time with new and old friends. Thanks to my teammate Skyler for helping me see things through younger eyes. Huge thank you to all of my sponsors (Jamis, Stan's, Julbo, Gaerne, ESI) that support me through the great races and not so great races. Great big thanks to all the people that helped me work on my bike and cheered for me on the race courses, your energy and excitement kept me going even when I was seriously suffering.
