21 degrees in Blue Diamond at 6:00 AM today. Being dressed for 40 didn't help the situation. I thought I was going to lose a few toes, but they are still attached! My workout was for a 20 minute race effort around a short track. There is a nice fast loop that I rode 3 times, but not even close to race effort. The cold combined with my getting over a cold made for a pretty weak attempt. At one point I stopped to get some blood flow back to my toes and got this desert photo. Don't be fooled the blue sky and sunshine, it was FREEZING!

My CarboRocket froze to an awesome slushy consistency. How amazing would it be to have slushy CarboRocket during the hot summer rides? Should we tell 7-11 to add this new flavor? Yes!
