ICUP Race # 9 (Snowbird Mountain Bout relocated to Dutch Hollow)

The Intermountain Cup Race at Dutch Hollow turned out to be a fun race. I wasn't psyched about the course after the pre-ride, there's not a lot of space for passing and it's hard to get into a flow because the trail is so varied with lots of tight turns. I was still concerned about my shoulder and elbow from my fall earlier in the week. I ended up wearing the "sun protection" arm warmers, just so the bandage would stay on my elbow through the trees. It was a small turnout, just KC, Kelsy and me. Sarah and Kathy are prepping for World Cup next weekend. Despite getting a bee sting near the end of lap 2 (out of 2.5) I finished in 1st Place! Here is the Garmin File
Great big thank you to Bryan Lewis and Kay H for the following photos.
