My legs came back around for the race in New York, it's a good thing too! When you fly across the country to race they better be working! The course was even muddier on race day than the previous days so a few of the rock gardens proved more challenging and the "miniwall" (or mudwall as I named it) was a big mess. I had 3 significant crashes. The first one I lost my glasses, ripped my number plate and must have shoved the bars into my quad because I have the largest contusion I've ever had. The next crash was a trip over my bars in the main rock garden and the third one was on the mud wall. I still managed to finish in 4th place, a little banged up but very happy!
