Leaving my helmet and shorts in the car and the dirt jumper on the back has proven to be effective! I was able to sneak in two sessions at Trailside between appointments and child rearing this week! The first time Jen and I worked on some wood features then rode the big loop. That girl is beyond amazing. If you need inspiration to get out, regardless of how you feel and what's going on in your life, check out her blog. She is going through her second round of chemotherapy in the last 2 years and she is STILL riding her bike. We met in 2010 when I began racing in Utah. We've been friends ever since. This spring we went to Camp Lynda together and we both have a love of working on skills and dirt jumping. This week's session was great, she rode a wood/balance feature that I'd never ridden before so I just followed her on it and rode it! The next day I had 15 minutes to spare so I worked on another feature and successfully rode that one as well! Two new features in two days, effective indeed!
